La chiesa dei Santi Francesco e Giustina a Rovigo, edificata tra la fine del XIII e l’inizio del XIV secolo, inizialmente di impostazione gotica, è oggi il risultato di una ristrutturazione del 1827.
Nella prima foto, degli anni ’40, è possibile osservare la facciata con le cinque statue ornamentali presenti, che vennero poi rimosse alla fine degli anni ‘60 perché fortemente danneggiate.
Nella seconda immagine, infatti, risalente agli anni ’70, sono assenti, e anche le porte sono differenti, sostituite in quegli anni; la terza foto presenta la stessa struttura.
Saint Francesco and Giustina’s church in Rovigo, built between the end of the thirteenth and the beginning of the fourteenth century, initially Gothic, is today the result of a restructuring of 1827.
In the first photo, of the ’40s, it is possible to observe the facade with the five ornamental statues present, which were then removed at the end of the years 1960 because strongly damaged.
In the second one, in fact, dating back to the ’70s, they are absent, and even the doors are different, replaced in those years; the third photo shows the same structure.
